Student Meals
New Meal Distribution Schedule Starting Monday, April 6th
Dear Parents and Families of Paramount Unified School District,
Starting Monday, April 6th, we will now be serving breakfast and lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 am – 11:00 am at the same locations.
On Monday and Wednesday, families will be given a two (2) day supply of meals.
In other words, on Monday, meals will be provided for both Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, meals will be provided for both Wednesday and Thursday. Only one (1) breakfast and lunch will be given on Friday.
Students do NOT have to be present. Parents, on Monday, you will receive both breakfast and lunch for Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, you will receive a breakfast and lunch for both Wednesday and Thursday, and on Friday, you will be receiving a breakfast and a lunch for only Friday.
Please be sure to follow Food Handling Instructions that will be given to you when you pick up the meals. Lastly, I would like to send a special Thank You to our super hero Nutrition Services staff for responding during this time of crisis and need. Thank you and please stay healthy and well.
Nuevo Horario de Distribución de Alimentos a Partir del lunes 6 de abril
Estimados Padres y Familias del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Paramount,
A partir del lunes, 6 de abril, ahora serviremos el desayuno y el almuerzo los lunes, miércoles, y viernes de 8:30 am – 11:00 am en los mismos lugares. Los estudiantes NO tienen que estar presentes. Padres, el lunes, ustedes recibirán el desayuno y el almuerzo para el lunes y el martes. El miércoles, recibirá el desayuno y el almuerzo para los miércoles y jueves, y el viernes, recibirá un desayuno y un almuerzo solamente para el viernes.
Los lunes y miércoles, las familias recibirán un suministro de comidas para dos (2) días. En otras palabras, el lunes, se proporcionarán comidas tanto para el lunes como para el martes. El miércoles, se proporcionarán comidas tanto para el miércoles como para el jueves. Solo se ofrecerá un (1) desayuno y almuerzo el viernes.
Por favor, asegúrese de seguir las instrucciones de manejo de alimentos que se le darán cuando recoja los alimentos. Por último, me gustaría enviar un agradecimiento especial a nuestro personal de servicios de nutrición que son unos súper héroes por responder durante este momento de crisis y necesidad. COMPUTER or CHROMEBOOK device support
STUDENT AND STAFF CHROMEBOOK/COMPUTER TECHNICAL SUPPORT
To assist our students with technical issues during these difficult times, the Paramount Unified is providing technology support to students that have both software and hardware issues on their devices during this period of distance learning. Students can access a support line at 562-602-6084 or email at [email protected] for program and software issues.
Also! District technology and TIAs provide Chromebook support at the District office (ROP Portable). Parents and students will be able to bring their District-issued Chromebooks that are non-functional or having technical issues for repair or replacement at no charge. Technical services will be provided MONDAY, WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY from 8:30am to 11:00am in the “ROP portable” located in the parking lot of the District office.

Middle School Students Update
Middle school students will begin a new schedule for their lessons on Monday, April 6, 2020. Students will be required to complete lessons on Schoology for each period on the days and times shown in the schedule. Students are expected to spend a minimum of 3 hours on the computer completing assignments or engaging in real-time lessons. Please see the schedule below:
Monday and Wednesday
Period 1 9:00 – 10:00
Period 2 11:00 – 12:00
Period 3 1:00 – 2:00
Tuesday and Thursday
Period 4 9:00 – 10:00
Period 5 11:00 – 12:00
Period 6 1:00 – 2:00
Friday will be used to catch up on assignments, connect with counselors, or ask for help from any of your teachers if needed.
