Thank you, President Lincoln for abolishing slavery, signing the first if the Homestead Acts which allowed poor people to obtain land, signed the Morrill Land - Grant Act which led to the creation of numerous universities, and led the Union to victory in the American Civil War. Today we celebrate all of his contributions!
